Meet Bri:

Bri Snellgrove is a seasoned professional with a heartfelt dedication to her craft, serving as the Director of Operations at True Story PR. With a wealth of experience in the industry, Bri brings valuable expertise and leadership to her role. Before joining True Story PR, she established herself as the owner and operator of the esteemed agency, Social ICON, based in Pensacola, Florida.

Bri’s educational journey began as a collegiate swimmer at the University of New Orleans, where she completed her Associate’s degree. Her passion for learning and dedication led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, accompanied by a Sales Management Certification, from the University of West Florida. Armed with her education and unwavering determination, she set out to make a mark in the business world.

Prior to her entrepreneurial career, Bri gained extensive experience across various sectors, including non-profit organizations, commercial real estate, and print media. However, in 2013, Social ICON was founded as a full-service holistic marketing, and corporate events agency—which is where she discovered her true calling. Over the course of ten years, Bri has collaborated with clients from diverse locations such as Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, New York, and Hawaii, leaving a trail of success in her wake.

Her client portfolio boasts an impressive range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, grocers, venture capitalists, construction, real estate, universities, public education, private jet transportation, influencers, and non-profit organizations. Bri’s exceptional skills in managing advertising budgets have allowed her to oversee a combined annual budget of over $500,000 for her esteemed clients, ensuring their marketing efforts were both effective and impactful.

Bri’s expertise extends far and wide, encompassing various aspects of the marketing landscape. From developing comprehensive marketing strategies to executing video and podcast productions, creating compelling advertising campaigns, formulating social media strategies, managing public and client relations, orchestrating mass communications, and even overseeing event production logistics, she is a versatile force to be reckoned with.

With the advent of the pandemic, Bri adeptly adapted to the changing landscape, directing her focus towards virtual events. Her skills shone brightly as she provided her exceptional services to prominent entities such as Cox Business, Baptist Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, University of West Florida, Florida SBDC, Studer Community Institute, and many more. Her virtual events have been nothing short of remarkable, bringing people together and creating meaningful connections despite physical distances. One notable achievement was her selection as the Event Producer for the highly successful Women in Leadership Conference in 2022 and 2023. This back-to-back sold-out event, held at the University of West Florida, boasted an impressive attendance of 900 participants in 2023 and featured a full virtual component along with an innovative event app.

While Bri’s professional achievements are certainly noteworthy, she has also embarked on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery. The passing of her father in July 2022 prompted her to delve into introspection, nurturing her relationships and seeking personal growth. This experience has shaped her perspective and fueled her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

After a period of reflection and cherishing valuable moments with her family, Bri made the courageous decision to embrace a new challenge. Accepting the position of Director of Operations at True Story PR, she remains steadfast in her mission to lead with purpose and vision.
