Cool Mom | Plant Lady | Poet | Logistics Strategist
Bri Taylor, the Director of Operations at True Story PR, is a logistics strategist with a penchant for excellence in her craft. Her journey into this role is a testament to her dedication and diverse experiences. Before her role at True Story PR, she was the dynamic force behind Social ICON, a thriving agency rooted in Pensacola, Florida.
Bri’s educational journey began at the University of New Orleans, where she not only excelled as a collegiate swimmer but also earned her Associate’s degree. She furthered her academic pursuits, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Sales Management Certification from the University of West Florida.
Her pre-entrepreneurial career encompassed non-profit organizations, commercial real estate, and print media. However, her true calling was unveiled in 2013 when she founded Social ICON, a holistic marketing and corporate events agency. Over a decade, her influence extended across industries, adeptly managing advertising budgets and large-scale corporate events.
Bri’s expertise casts a wide net over the marketing landscape. Her versatility was showcased during the pandemic when she mastered the art of virtual events nationwide, including the Women in Leadership Conference in 2022 and 2023, complete with a virtual component and an innovative event app. She worked virtually with other reputable firms such as Cox Business, Studer Institute, Navy Federal, U.S. Navy Blue Angels, Baptist Hospital, and more.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bri’s personal journey of self-discovery, prompted by the passing of her father in 2022, has deeply shaped her perspective. This profound experience fuels her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact. At the helm of True Story PR, her commitment to leading with purpose and vision shines through, fostering growth for her team and clients.
Bri is a mom of two, a lover of all things houseplants, an avid coffee enthusiast, and never misses a chance to catch a sunset on the Gulf Coast.
