Careers: Client Strategy Manager

Role

Serve as the leader of the account(s) – providing expert counsel to clients for opportunities and situations. This may include:

  • Crisis Communications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, spearheading their weekly, bi-weekly or monthly meetings.
  • Work with clients on production and content planning alongside team members–hiring appropriate vendors for production needs and include deliverables and direction.
  • Oversee project timelines of the creative team, ensuring team members are following systems to meet all deadlines for tasks. Adding team members’ tasks and deadlines in Asana.
  • Managing communications between client and team members to ensure new project timelines can be feasibly executed.
  • Review content and tasks before sending items to clients for approval. Review for brand consistency, accuracy, style, messaging, visual appeal, and strategy – always ensuring what we provide is the highest level of quality.
  • Oversee the efficiency of individual team members, assessing their needs for education, additional training, etc. Find a balance between empowering the team to resolve issues and work independently, but also knowing when to seek approval or guidance.
  • Identifying opportunities to adjust systems, team members, and services to work more efficiently together and/or toward clients’ goals.
  • Consistently review strategy, ensuring tasks and execution are still meeting the needs of the client. Make recommendations for additional services or changing services/strategy as needed.
  • Review each account’s monthly report with the client, offering recommendations, discussing ideas, and forming solutions as appropriate.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications or a related field. Experience in agency and/or the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Experience in strategic counseling of C-Suite level executives and/or ownership on high level and sensitive topics.
  • Experience in leading a team, effectively delegating tasks and overseeing big picture timelines.
  • Creative thinking, yet detail oriented with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
  • The ability to be productive in a remote work environment.
  • Open communication within a fully remote team.
  • Be able to manage their own deadlines and communicate updates with the team via Asana.

 

The position is a full-time, fully-remote, W2 position. Compensation depends on experience and performance.
