Can You Escape? Escapology Hosts Spooky Grand Opening Event

Can you find the clues, solve the mystery and escape within just one hour? Head to Escapology, the new escape room at The Market Shops at Sandestin, to test your skills and mind.

Live escape games have recently become a huge attraction because they are challenging, exciting, thought-provoking, and encourage cell-phone free interaction with others. However, the Escapology brand takes the experience to an entirely different level. Escapology is the finest live escape room experience where participants get locked in a game room for an hour where the only way to escape is piecing together puzzles, solving riddles, and the only weapon one can use is their wits! Escapology is the perfect activity for kids, first dates, birthday parties, and team-building events.

While Escapology has 60 locations worldwide, the Miramar Beach location is proudly owned by locals Christoffer and Hilary Fasth. The Miramar Beach location has 6 different rooms, each with a different storyline and code to crack. Themes like Cuban Crisis, Under Pressure, and Budapest Express make up part of the game experiences.

“My family tried Escapology for the first time in Orlando,” said owner, Christoffer Fasth. “We knew it would be a perfect fit for the Destin area, especially on rainy days or during the winter! It’s a great mental exercise that encourages personal interaction for families, businesses, and people of all ages.”

Escapology invites the community to their Spooktacular Grand Opening event on Friday, October 26, 2018. The event will give attendees the chance to check out the new location, get special room rates, enjoy bites by Pizza by the Sea, and more. The event will begin at 5:00 pm… and continues until you escape!  Costumes are highly encouraged as Escapology will be hosting a costume contest, along with a contest to see which team escapes the fastest during the night. Both winners will receive a complimentary escape experience for six. Attendance for the celebration is free and escape rooms will be offered for only $20 per person.
