NFL Star Jordan Leggett of the New York Jets has announced the start of the fundraising campaign for the Taylor Haugen Foundation with hopes to raise $5,000 during this football season. The campaign, Touchdowns for Taylor, encourages supporters to pledge a donation to raise awareness of the severity of abdominal injuries and money for state of the art protective gear to ensure safety for all athletes.
Leggett was born and raised in Navarre, FL. He attended Navarre High School and was ranked a three-star recruit from their football team. Although Leggett was two years behind Taylor Haugen in school, their shared passion for the community and love for football solidified his support for the Taylor Haugen Foundation. Leggett grew up with the story of Taylor and is passionate about the vision of the foundation.
Leggett is proud to once again announce the launch of the Touchdowns for Taylor campaign on Pledge It to honor Taylor’s memory and support the Taylor Haugen Foundation’s mission to build and recognize youth leaders and promote youth sports safety. Fans of the NFL Jets and supporters to pledge a donation for every receiving touchdown that the Jets have this season. Fans that pledge at least $1 to the campaign per receiving touchdown or that donate $25 will receive an official Taylor Haugen wristband.
